Funded! (again!)
Late Pledges Enabled! Diego Cover Art!
FUNDED!
That was somethin’, eh?
We were much more ambitious this time than our first Kickstarter, and I’ll admit I was a little worried in the long middle of the campaign, but y’all rallied something fierce and came through generously.
This is highly encouraging and gives us the confidence to steam ahead down the tracks.
The art team is thrilled: Tomás, Diego, Jose, Jessie, and Chris all did fantastic work, and it makes us proud to show their efforts off. Not to mention Mishka’s amazing “cat herding” / art wrangling on the production side.
LATE PLEDGES NOW ENABLED
Dead Money campaign (issues 1-3)
Although the main campaign has now ended, people can still pledge for rewards. If you know someone you think would like to pick up this tale, let them know!
THANK YOUs
While I’m sure I’m going to forget some people, we couldn’t have done this without the support of many friends, old and new:
Julieta Ladstatter (Punk Gaze)
Vincent Jiminez and the whole Quicksilver Quills writing gang
Kari the Crowdfunding Queen (Splash Pages)
JF Garrard (Artsy Raven)
Steve Van Samson (Retro Ridoctopus)
Nimesh Moraji, the Comics Panelist
David Clink & Rachel A. Rosen (Wizards & Spaceships)
Shane Hensley (Deadlands)
Kyle Scoble (Super Village documentary)
Dr. Randy Woodley (Sho-Kee Cultural Consultants)
And, of course, Jim Zub
Issue 2 Variant Cover by Diego Giribaldi
Diego turned in his art for the next spotlight cover, featuring Miles Brown, and ... WOW.
This is going to look gorgeous printed and next to his Moses Booth (“Red Cowboy”) cover.
